A life-sized cake of Mr Darcy Character from BBC’s Pride and Prejudice played by Colin Firth, has been unveiled to celebrate the launch of Jane Austen Season on UKTV Drama Channel. This 6ft tall creation was on display at National Trust property Lyme Park in Cheshire which was used as Mr Darcy's home Pemberley in the mini-series and where the famous lake scene was filmed. It's made out of vanilla sponge cake with vanilla buttercream filling and chocolate ganache. Michelle uses 25kg of flour, 25kg of butter and 45 kg of sugar and took more than 200 hours to make. Celebrating the reopening HMS Belfast in London today, Michelle Wibowo from Michelle Sugar Art created 4 foot long replica of the famous ship that has moored near Tower Bridge London for 50 Years. The nine-deck Town-class light cruiser was built in the Northern Irish capital in 1936 and launched two years later. Belfast played a major role in the Second World War, initially as part of the British naval blockade against Germany.
